Thanks W. Carter. After my surgery I lost 7 lbs and my hemoglobin was low due to lost blood. But I eventually gained weight and have continued taking iron pills. Believe me I was pale in the very beginning lol . â˜ºï¸

Thats normal, I was weak, dizzy, felt like I was sick, and pale. I was anemic and my hemoglobin was at 6. I have been on iron for a year. I was underweight too after surgery. now I am about 20 lbs overweight. Too much fried foods and sweets! Its... Read more.

W. Carter you are so right! My hemoglobin was 6 before I left Cardiac ICU, but they put me on Iron pills few months before surgery (9/11/2015) I'm also taking Vitamin B12 and switched a few days ago from Aspirin 325 mg to baby aspirin 81 mg. I have recently... Read more.
