Super itchy rash where my adhesive was. Anyone else experience this a week after surgery?

So sorry for the itchies. Mine came much sooner, about 3 days into hospitalization, was allergic to adhesive on lidocaine patches. I hope things ease for you soon.

I had the same thing. I found coconut oil really helped.

Yes, I had itchy red rashes from every bandage and EKG sticker. My chest looked like a stripey nightmare because of it, but if itching and redness was my biggest problem, I was doing fine. I found just discontinuing bandages was the only way it got better.

Proud of this scar! Feeling better each day. The first 2 were pretty brutal. Pain meds all worked out, walking everyday and will possibly go home tomorrow!

Congratulations Sara! My worst pain was caused by how I was positioned on the table as well. Just stay on top of the pain meds (I.e. donâ€™t wait) and it will get better soon!
