I think I would like to know how bad things have to get before surgery is done. I’m always dizzy, feel like I can’t breathe, and it’s making my anxiety worse. At my last visit the Dr said the dizziness wasn’t even related to my valve problem. Super frustrated.
Have you had an echocardiogram? My problem was my mitral valve. I didn’t have any noticeable symptoms but my ventricle started to enlarge and my cardiologist said it was time for surgery. An echo will tell you how bad your regurgitation is and if there’s any enlargement in your heart.
Yes he said there really wasn’t any change from last years echo.
Lisa is 100% right. Get an echocardiogram and a second opinion.
