I finally found peace and my permanent heart doctors. For those of you who remember my cardiologist was blaming my neurologists and then troubleshooting what could be wrong. While I kept falling, dizzy, loss feeling in my leg and collapsed. I was really frustrated my progress was a longer journey... Read more.
So glad things are looking up for you Suzette. Your testimony of being your own advocate is very appropriate for this group. Love your hat! ❤️‍🩹👍
It’s so cold that’s my hood with earmuffs and scarf did first round of snow shovel.
Good to hear that you have found a team that you trust and can work with!!

I met with a new cardiologist, and for the first time have a real game plan for myself. I learned so much from this doctor within one visit more than I have know within the last year. I have two blockages but they don’t need stents but in time they... Read more.
Suzette, this is great news! I'm so happy that you found this cardiologist. You have to trust your doctors. Thank you for sharing. 🪖❤️‍🩹👍❤️
It pays royally to be persistent to find the right doctor to patient fit. Congrats! Interesting re: ventilator messing with one's nervous system. Have to look into that more, given I ended up with vagal nerve issues post surgery. -- within two months.
Great. Maybe things will turn positive now. As in every business, there are good and bad doctors. I remember one blaming my foot pain on my age. I dumped him. The new doctor diagnosed gout and cured it in a week. Btw, that first doctor is still in practice probably... Read more.
I am so glad for you, Suzette. Dear Deena, what kind of vagal issues if I may know? I remember we discussee the "pump head" here...
Klara, so good to hear from you again! We need a photo of your kids, please:) They are at the age, where they go so fast. Regarding the vagal episodes, I have episodes where my BP plummets; I am so weak I go to the ground, have a full body... Read more.
My father had this Deena and my husband had an episode the last time he vomited. It's scary to say the least. Same symptoms: BP plummets, profuse sweating and he passed out. Glad you have it somewhat under control.
Wow....that sounds very uncomfortable...sorry to hear that. Has it got to do with moving to the upright position? I have orthostatic hypotension with very similar symptoms...but I see clear association with standing up.
My kids are so so good and healthy and growing up, I am very grateful for that. They are 8, 6 and 4. Unbelieveble. Me and my husband are both well and working very hard in healthcare system and my mother in law is helping us immensely....
Klara I had lost footing and also would be lighted headed and fall to the ground I thought it was pump head. apparently all the the meds given take a long time to come out of your system that’s what I kept researching -my surgery was 6 hours and my... Read more.
Rose- thanks for the share re: dad and husband. If you ever hear of any new remedies, please share. - and vice versa:) Klara- spot-on, it will get worse with standing. Suzette, we slightly “high jacked” your posting! Glad you found a better doc. Safer place to be in.
That’s wonderful new! I know you had a lot of problems and happy you are getting much deserved help!
Suzette, I am glad to find you here today. I've only just read your most recent post but it does sound more hopeful than I relented from last time I looked. I hope you are going to be doing better, with better doctoring. I have a tale to tell, which... Read more.
