Just had one and an endoscopy at same time. Double trouble or the twin roto rooter as i call it. stopped eliquis for 2 days. They found 2 polyps and removed them. Went back on next day.
I've had surgery and biopsies and colonoscopy while on anticoagulants (I have 2 mechanical valves). I need a very high INR because of my double valve replacements. So, it’s been 1 year 8 months since my AVR with a mechanical valve. All in all, things are going well. However, in the last 3 weeks I’ve been experience higher than normal heart rate even at rest. I’m 51, not sure is this is hormonal issue or heart related.... Read more.
How high is your resting heart rate now? Any associated symptoms like shortness of breath? Any other changes I medication, such as going off a beta blocker like metoprolol? That could raise your heart rate. Lots of questions, I know... hope you have a great vacation, and then get your... Read more.
Resting HR is 110-120. It’s weird because is goes up at night when I’m trying to sleep. Seeing doc on Monday. No other symptoms, thankfully. Hopefully, get this figured it out. Thanks for your response.
