Hello Everyone!!! I had my heart valve repair on February 26th, 2020 at Cleveland Clinic. I'm two weeks post op and I've been home a week today.
Hi Sarah, here's to a speedy recovery for you. I am 3/4 weeks post op and have found my recovery motoring along since being at home.
Good for you, Sarah! Hope you're doing well! Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Anyone one else have/had issues with recovering from activities before surgery? I had my second TEE Wednesday and I'm still dragging my feet to recover

Sarah - I'm sorry to hear that. Did you have a similar reaction after your first TEE? You may want to call to find out if there was a change in the form of anesthesia or duration of the procedure. The sedation normally dissipates pretty quickly. Wishing you the best!
The sedation May have been different between the 2 places. There is very little “hangover” with propofol, and a little more lingering fatigue with midazolam and / or fentanyl. Sedation can be done with either plan. Either way, you hopefully will be feeling back to normal soon.
