Surgery 5 days ago. Starting Day 3 in step down. Stayed extra day in ICU due to pain meds - rolling nausea and completely out of it. Now in own room getting a little sleep. From reports all went well with OHS. Very very grateful to all of you and... Read more.

You're doing great PJ. My first shower/hair wash was 15 days (!) after OHS and I needed much assistance. Take care!

I didn't get to wash my hair until I came home 7 days later! Good thing I brought some dry shampoo which helped a little bit. I'm sure you will feel so much better if someone can help you wash your hair! See you soon! ðŸ’—

Dry shampoo is a godsend. All that Cleveland Clinic would allow me was a shower cap thing with a Terry liner infused with some kind of cleaner. Yuk. Did little or nothing for my hair. The dry shampoo at least absorbs the oils and then you can scrub it out... Read more.
