I'm so glad you're feeling well, Paul! I don't think it's creepy at all that you have pictures of your heart - wish I did that!
Great to hear Paul. Feels so good to be on this side, doesn't it? My surgeon also gave me pictures of my old and new valves but have found that definitely not everyone likes to see them. I would like to see yours. I'll follow your journal and you'll have... Read more.

Definitely not creepy. Especially since there is usually no blood while on bypass.

Great to hear you are doing so well and so quickly. I had weeks of pain and difficulty. Awesome for you!! I too recognized progress about every 3-4 days rather than daily. And, I agree naps and walks are so healing. I wish I had pictures of my heart, too.... Read more.

Ps. The tubes coming out was a piece of cake. They ask you if you want novacaine to tie the couple stitches after they pull out the tubes, I can tell you guys you will not need It. It does feel funny, but it does not hurt: The stitches hurt... Read more.
Absolutely, it’s a relief!! So glad you are moving along in your recovery. You do feel better after they are out and it happens quickly.
Way to go Paul! Each day will continue to get better and better. Keep a positive attitude and keep grinding everyday!
I felt so much better when the tubes were out.
This something to look forward....6 days and counting! Keep moving forward Paul and thank you for your posts!
