Hello, I am 5 weeks post op tomorrow, I have severe insomnia. Can't get to sleep and stay asleep. I have used Benadryl, dramamine, Lunesta,Ambien and now a third one in this same class. Sleep is messed up for a while after surgery. What worked for me was lots of pillows. After I'd make yo after a fee hiu re a, I'd go downstairs to the recliner with my travel pillow and sleep some more. It will b.get better. 👍

Linda - It's frustrating when you're exhausted, but can't sleep. If your schedule allows it, I would tell you to forget about the clock, i.e. the time, for awhile. Sleep whenever you feel like it. A few hours here and there until you get back into your regular schedule may... Read more.

I have a question about weight gain prior to surgery. I began to notice my weight creeping up approx 4-6 mo prior to my diagnosis and it kept on going. I did have 15# fluid while in the hospital and this is now gone. Any tricks to get the rest... Read more.
