Hi. I've had 2 mechanical valves and a pacemaker since April 2015. I got the pacemaker 2 weeks after OHS. Metal detectors don't spot any of it. Take care, bionic man.

Hi Kevin. Can I just say, I had exactly the same thoughts as you re the Pacemaker and Detectors etc. lol but have had NO problems whatsoever with mine. Had a Duo one fitted 3 Weeks after OHS. Good Luck. You will be fine I'm sure!!

Oh my. I'm so sorry for you. Again, I'm no doctor but I'm pretty sure people live with CHF for a long while - at least my Mom did. Did your cardiologist discuss exactly what that means for you?

So thankful for today. After 7 weeks of being in the hospital, I have my last antibiotic treatment scheduled tonight, and due for discharge first thing in the morning. Although I am going to miss the view from by bedside window, I am looking forward to the fresh air and... Read more.
