Important Question....is there anyone on here familiar or know about healthy alternatives to pharmaceutical blood thinners? Having some bad side effects from those. Thanks for any information or place to look for info!!!! Hope everybody is doing well!! God Bless to All, Kathy
I'm coming off Eliquis...had bad side effects. I do not want to take a pharmaceutical grade blood thinner...am interested on natural blood thinners. My daughter took me this last Tues for my first appt after my TAVR procedure. My Echo test showed that the valve was working great....I talked to... Read more.
Is a baby aspirin possible for you? I have been on one since my SAVR (aortic tissue valve ) 7 years ago.

Well....I made it through my TAVR procedure. My heart decided it didn't like what my drs were doing so it started into A-Fib for 2 hours..had to shock it; but, I just came home an hour ago. I'm feeling good except, like Betsy said...bone tired; but, I can breathe so... Read more.

Kathy - Yay! Glad it's behind you, your valve is functioning well, and you're at home. The headache could be from the stress or fasting before surgery. Hopefully, it will subside, soon Please keep us posted on your progress. ❤️
Are you a coffee drinker who has not had coffee in a day or two? Might explain headache. Glad to hear you are home!
Thanks for the update! I experienced A-Fib post-SAVR (pretty common). Praying that you will get stronger each day!

So glad to hear from you- I had my TAVR procedure done on August 27. It took them 2 hours for the procedure, I was under complete anesthesia. They made cut on both side of leg. They told me to stay flat for 2 hours, transfer me to room and... Read more.
