Those darn flashing lights. I heard folks talk about these things on the forum. Are you having them? I get them very rarely with migraines. Do they subside? They are larger than they used to big and are like an arc. They are quite annoying and distort my vision.
Migraines had stopped for me at menopause but they came back after my surgery. I still have auras, occasional migraines and other visual episodes 2+ years out.
My sister had ocular migraines occasionally before surgery but more often after. I’d never had one but have had a few since surgery. Oddly enough my sister had one while we were at rehab today. I had one right after. It’s probably been 2-3 weeks since I had one.

Two weeks after surgery. Needed time in the rabbit hole to figure out the new normal. Trying up crawl back out. Was given some exercises from pt at hospital try to do those. Achey body and neck is still there. Did you have that? I find I have this annoying... Read more.

Hang in there! You're only 2 weeks out, it gets better. I'm still not laying flat at night, but I'm back in bed. One day at a time.
Took me 4 weeks to sleep relatively normal. Once my sleep was back on track my recovery sped up.
I’m just now getting to where I can sleep in any position. Could only sleep on my back at first. (Not fun for my husband-I’m a snorer). It was around a month before I could do sides. I also took Advil PM to help with those nighttime aches. Keep up... Read more.
The back/neck/shoulder aches were the WORST for me. My PT gave me the solution - use excellent posture when you are standing, and support your head & neck when youa re resting. Even in a seated or reclining position, you are spending a LOT of energy on holding your head... Read more.
