Had an MRI yesterday, feeling really good knowing I can have MRIs now that I've got a metallic valve.

I had a MRI in January. I have mechanical valves and a pacemaker. . Now I'm scheduled for rotator cuff surgery in August. Very impressed that it's possible now to have a MRI with a Pacemaker. Not so happy about more surgery. 😢

Hi everyone! Has anyone with a ON-X aortic valve had an MRI? Please let me know cause I might have one next week.

What will your MRI be for? I have 2 mechanical valves and have had many MRIs, no problem.

Sorin Biomedica bicarbon (made in Italy). Any commercially available mechanical valve poses no problem for an MRI. No worries.

I haven’t had an MRI but I’ve had an Echo and EKG. No problems.
