Harris's Profile

I was diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve with moderate to severe incompetence, mild stenosis and ascending aortic dilation. I decided, without any symptoms, to proceed with an aortic valve replacement and ascending aorta replacement operation on the 17th of October 2019. The surgery went very well. I replaced my bicuspid aortic valve with a mechanical valve (ON-X valve) and replaced the ascending aorta (30mm section).
