Well, the time has come when I log onto this webpage and see my own smiling face as one of those now "on deck." It is getting close. My wife and I are currently travelling to be ready to do the pre-op visits September 11th. If all goes well I... Read more.

Question for the group: I'm a mostly retired attorney doing about 6 - 10 hours a week of work for a family commercial property working on leasing, financial matters, and managing maintenance teams. Generally I am sitting at a desk with emails and zoom meetings, all in the comfort of... Read more.

Thank you Valerie, Richard, Robert and Yumiko. Great information and perspective!
I started working from home at 4 weeks after my Ross. It was a long time for me to wait but I don’t think I could have put in an 8 hour day before then. Also, if you have a sternotomy, you can’t drive yourself for at least 4 weeks,... Read more.
Glenn - My recovery was far from typical - I had it very easy compared to most other folks. I have a sedentary job and actually started working from home four days after surgery. My job involves phone calls and emails just a couple of days a week. I was... Read more.
