For the sake of others, and my own support. I've decided to post a little more about my almost 7 weeks post open heart surgery for aortic aneurysm repair/bicuspid aortic valve repair. Chris, I can relate with you. I had a Ross procedure on 4/6/22 and an aortic aneurysm replacement. We are on are on a similar timeline. I feel pretty good and when I try to do chores, pulling weeds etc. I still get really fatigued. It is definitely frustrating but... Read more.
7 weeks is very very early. Your body needs time to get over heart surgery. It's normal to get tired easily. Take care.

only 7.5 weeks?! Of course, you will be tired!! The big benchmark according to my cardiologist is 6 months for feeling a lot less tired, but it also depends on your age and the severity of your heart and surgery. I still felt tired at 6 months, but could do... Read more.

Almost 7 weeks since aortic aneurysm/valve repair. As before surgery, I have less than occasional supraventricular ectopy and sometimes PVCs. I continue to "feel" my heartbeat in the chest quite often particularly when resting/sitting. It's great to be driving and lifting more than 10 pounds, though. Chest and upper back... Read more.

All and all, sounds like you are doing well. Listen to your body and rest when you need to.
