Hi everyone! I've been off the site since January 28 and today I realized that it's been 3 weeks since my OHS on January 30 to replace my bicuspid aortic valve. First, I want to thank you all for your words of encouragement. Your stories and uplifting words were incredibly... Read more.
Great news! So glad you are recovering well. God bless you

Thanks for the update! Wishing you a speedy recovery, Beth! ❤

Looks like your on the right path. Soon you will be on the recovery side. Grateful & Faithfull, is the way. Prayers for you, Beth.

My understanding is that the plate will be more centered, and that the sternal wires will be placed on the top and bottom sides of the plate for a little extra stabilization. I had a full sternotomy with all wires in 2017, and the wires have never bothered me a... Read more.
I never had any trouble with the wires either.
