Thank you for your unique perspective. I have a schizophrenic brother, he did nothing to deserve it either. We did not ask for these things but with God's help, and the support of others, we are survivors.

This drawing was done by my surgeon during a post-op visit for surgery #2. I had an aortic valve replacement (St Jude) in 1989. After many years of trouble-free ticking, I was then diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm. My aortic valve, aortic root

I had this same procedure done except the entire red part of your picture was also replaced with Dacron in 2007. So now I have a Bovine valve, attached to the Dacron. My entire ascending aorta was replaced and also my heart valve.....and I am doing very well. In 2014,... Read more.
