Send Thomas a NoteAbout Me
I was diagnosed with aortic stenosis with a bicuspid valve in my early 20's. I am now 54 years old and my valve has worsened to the point of severe. I received an on-x mechanical valve and ended up having to have a cabg because some of the calcification got into one of my coronary arteries when they were cutting out the old valve.
So I was all done with the first surgery (the valve), and back in my room, then they discovered that I was having some strange ekg readings and figured out what was wrong and then I had to go back in for a second surgery.
