I’m a 70 year old dxed with mitral stenosis and mitral regurgitation.My primary physician detected a heart murmur somewhere around 2010. I was told it was likely related to RF as a child which my mother did not recall. In 2013 I had a valvolplasty and did reasonably well until the last few years. My local cardiologist has referred me to the Cleveland Clinic . I was initially seen on Nov 1, 2022 for a second opinion and was told to continue with watchful waiting. Fast forward to now. Things can progress quickly. Developed A flutter and left atrium spontaneous contrast and with that, surgery is scheduled ❤️‍🩹
