I am 54 and was diagnosed about 20 years ago with bicuspid aortic valve. I’ve been getting routine echos but last August, it came with a severe aortic stenosis diagnosis which triggered the concern for surgery. I am scheduled for OHS in April of 2024. I’m extremely nervous and anxious about being prepared and going forward. Trying to get prepared for recovery and get items needed to help. I have a wonderful husband and adorable chocolate lab for support.
