Hello I'm writing this and following this page for my husband. He will be having mitral valve replacement surgery and I'm trying to learn as much as I can. My husband, Tom, is very calm about this whole process and just wants it done. Me , on the other hand, is a total wreck!! We were scheduled to start the testing - TEE and cardiac cath on Wednesday, January 25, however it's been postponed a week due to my husband's heart rate. For 2 weeks he's been in A Flutter/ Fib. To look at Tom you wouldn't even think he's sick and honestly he feels good. Thank God.
