I was initially diagnosed 7 years ago with aortic regurgitation and aortic stenosis. I was told a month ago that my stenosis was "severe" and it was time for a AVR. I'm trying to process all this. CT angio was done last week. Cath angio will be done next week, pre-op the following week. I feel really good about the choice of my surgeon and USC Keck. Everybody says I'll feel like a million bucks when it's done, I'm trying to find comfort in that fact.
