Send Jeanette a NoteAbout Me
I was unaware I had any heart problem until Autumn of 2022. I was simply "checking off boxes" to visit a cardiologist in the search to figure out why I was having neuropathy in my feet. It's not a positive sign when the tech makes a phonecall toward the end of your echocardiogram apparently. I wasn't even allowed to do a stress test or CAC that day. I went into shock trying to process the diagnosis of severe mitral stenosis. When I had the right heart cath procedure, I unfortunately had not received sufficient anesthesia so I could feel it in my heart and as they exited out my right arm there was significant nerve pain. So many things went wrong that day. I ended up clotting and had to go to the ER.
