Had shortness of breath. Went to doctor who did a quick, accurate diagnosis, and called the plane to fly me to specialized care in Billings, MT. I was shocked with the diagnosis, because I am generally healthy, but it was accurate. A couple days later they repaired the mitral valve. I've never had anything like this happen before. It seems like a person is not really sick, just maybe has some little problem. Then they do the surgery, and then you are really in a hole and have to climb back out. It takes time. I did try to do whatever the doctor told me.
