Florida sunset. Trying to learn to take pictures.
Boat on the davit and ready to go, great picture
Thanks Tim, our sons were both home today (at the same time) for the first time since Father's Day and were trying to teach me how to take a picture and upload it.
"Davit "? In Michigan we call that a "lift". Of course in Michigan it's winter for nine months and then we have three months of damn poor sledding. Nice picture.
Thanks Duane, I actually had to look up "davit" to see what that meant. We call it our boat "lift" too. It seems like I learn something new here every time I log in. Thanks Tim for teaching me a new word.:-)

Finally...my scar picture at 9 months post op.
Hope you are feeling as good as you look! So many of us have been given a second chance and it shows.
Mas Bonita Tammy!!! Such a great smile!!! Can I post this at our Facebook page? I'm sure this will inspire thousands and thousands of people!!
Great picture, your scar is looking good. It must have been nice having the smaller cut.
Thank you all so much! You all are so kind! Adam, you are welcome to post it on the Facebook page. I would be so happy if it could help someone still waiting for their surgery. Thanks again everybody! I love my heart family! :-)
Beautiful smile heart sister! Nice scar!
You look wonderful, Tammy. The scar is perfect where it is with that top.
Looks great Tammy. I went back for my first post op on Wednesday. The PA looked at my incision and commented on the several suture ends emerging from it. I thought the little scratchy things I held been feeling were just small bits of scab. EEWWWW!!! creeped me out and... Read more.
Thank you all so much! Y'all are so kind! John, it is a small world! Our son likes living over there. There is so much to do and see! What did the PA do about your suture ends emerging? That would have creeped me out too! :-)
Tammy. She poked at them and said "oh, there's some suture ends working their way out" :) but really, she said it's not a problem and they will disappear over time.
Tammy, do you attend a church at home? A young man out of our church here started a church in Destination a couple of years ago. It is called Emarld Coast Baptist. He has a semi regular column in a local paper down there. His name is Timothy Braddock. Just... Read more.
Tammy, that should be Destin. We must always remember to spell check our auto coerce.
Thanks Bill! :-) John, we actually drive 25 miles inland to attend the church we've belonged to for 25 years. Even though there are great churches closer, we have family ties to our church. I think I know of the church you're speaking of in Destin (also a great church).... Read more.
Wow, that scar is hardly noticeable. Incredible. You look like you feel healthy too.
Awesome picture! Wish I looked that good EVER!! But the worry lines are gone now that I'm 4 months post-op!
Thank you both so much! Karen, I do feel more healthy now.:-) Linda, I know what you mean about the worry lines being gone now. I think we have more to smile about now! Congrats on 4 months! :-)
Thanks again to Jeanette, Tim, Kelly, Adam, Lynne, Gerald, Rhonda, Bob, Edith, John, Lora Lee, Bill, Karen, and Linda! I really appreciate your very sweet comments! I love this amazing heart family! God bless y'all! :-)
Thanks so much, Janice! "God is a loving God", Amen!! I'm so thankful to have you as my sister in Christ, as well as my heart sister. "For our hearts shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name.". Psalms 33:21.
Thanks so much, Sherry! Prayers and best wishes for your surgery, too! You'll do great! Mine wasn't as bad as I anticipated it would be. God bless you!
