I'm a 45 year old mom of two and grandmother of two that leads a full and very busy lifestyle. Just three weeks ago during a routine physical a heart murmur was detected. After additional testing to include a visit to a cardiologist and the local hospital, surgery is now scheduled to replace a bicuspid aortic valve that I've had since birth but never knew. Right now I am just trying to soak up all the knowledge and information I can to have as positive of a recovery as possible.
