Nice! Incision is really fading! You dont look like you had open heart surgery 4 weeks ago!!! Howâ€™s your walking going? I am having a hard time figuring out how much to push myself walking wise.

Deena, some days it goes really well others I just don't wanna do anything, but force myself to do something. Anywhere from 2-4 times a day 5 minutes at a time, then if the weather is bad the recumbent teeter 2-3 times a day 5-8 minutes at a time. My... Read more.

Has enyone had this closure thing. I was told I will be having one. Post op was exhausting.

I did not have a wound vac during my surgery but as an OT, I have patients that use it for various wounds. Have not seen it used on a sternotomy wound though. Should help speed up the healing process and decrease chance of infection if used right. Shouldnâ€™t cause... Read more.
