Don't read :)) go to your GP as you are planning to :) Thorough examination of your whole body by a doctor and some lab tests will tell. In these early days oedema is common. Doctor will help you probably with some medication. Good luck!
Just what are we lookin at here, Louis? Jk
Like Klara said, stop reading. Your doctor will tell you what to worry about. รฐลธหœยฌ but..in my opinion, that doesnt look too bad.
Louis - Your ankle looks slightly swollen. Did your doctor put you on a diuretic after surgery? Water weight is very common and it can take a little while to lose it. Ask your doctor about it, but that's probably all it is. Please keep us posted. โค๏ธ
Thanks Heart Peeps, GP went well and he removed my last tube sutures. Lol you all sound like my sister as she keeps telling me to stop reading and Googling info. GP didn't seam to concerned but he didn't take sock off either. I elevate in evening n sleeping now.... Read more.
Get some compression socks too, Louis. They help. I didnt use the super tight ones. But enough so they were still a bit hard to put on. It will straighten out, as your circulation returns to normal, i think.

Also picture of how it looks. Nothing running. Maybe it happens when I do my deep breathing exercises?
Have you contact your Primary or cardiologist regarding this? Why are you. changing your own bandages? Ask your doctor to prescribe visiting nurse to check on you at least once a week. So sorry you are going through this. Not everyone gets endocarditis, donรขโ‚ฌโ„ขt worry about something that hasnรขโ‚ฌโ„ขt happened.... Read more.
Hi Louis, these wounds on this picture don't look inflamed, they look fine. Bloody leakage is probably due to straining plus you're probably on blood thinner so it's easier for minor bleeding to happen. If it stopped, I wouldn't be concerned, but definitely check with your provider since this "online"... Read more.
Thank so much Klara and Ana for input. It does help. I will contact someone soon. Have appointment with GP in week and will call Cardiologists office today. I also have a contact Nurse who works closely with Surgeon as she called my yesterday to up my 81 mg aspirin... Read more.
Louis, did you mention to the nurse about your bleeding issues? I hope you got some answers today. Thatรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs quite the jump in mg of aspirin per day. I saw your other post and the pictures. My goodness! You did the right thing by calling the office. As for the... Read more.
Did a Echo Cardio on Friday and they said if I don't here from them later in the day not to be to concerned and they will call me this week. They wanted to rule out bleeding around heart and think it is just old blood coming out. That one... Read more.
So I was told by NP that you should only need to take antibiotics for dental only if it's a surgery and not for cleaning or checkup. I feel dental will always request. Not to keen on having to take antibiotics every single time I have to go to the... Read more.
Hahah you are right. I am six weeks post op and already had to take antibiotics twice and am taking probiotics cause of that... Unfortunately I can't drink Kefir but Kombucha is very good idea!

Louis - it seems like a lot for this stage in your recovery. A phone call to your surgeon can't hurt. Please keep us posted. โค๏ธ
Good idea Susan I will call. It did start 2 days before discharge in hospital and that was way more on a giant bandage that leaked all over. Big mess. Kept me 2 more days then I was expecting. Then they decided to give me a bag of many (lot's)... Read more.
