Hi Sue! You are in my prayers 🙏💖 I'm from Portland CT but now live in Alabama with my significant other. He's going through exactly what you are but his Dr will not operate. We are in the process of getting a second opinion. His Dr feels that his heart... Read more.

Sue- Heart warriors are behind you. Hope everything goes really well.
Get that second opinion and even a third. Some doctors are hesitant to operate because of the risk. Others have knowledge of techniques to lessen that risk. Shop around. Maybe he can find the right doctor.
Best wishes Sue! Sherrie, don't give up on the second opinion.
Update: we are sending out medical records to Dr David Adams office today. They will call us as soon as they have a report.
I just read a profile (Dr Ibrahim at Penn, I think) on this site, who specializes in high risk. I’ll look further tonight and post if I find it.
Yes, search in upper right for Dr Michael Ibrahim. I don’t know him but I think people have mentioned he’s their surgeon in this community. Hope it helps.
Sending prayers. Hope you find the right surgeon for you🙏🏻
Looked him up. I will definitely call him if Dr Adams can't or won't do the surgery. Thank you 🙏
Dr Michael abrams at penn also mentions in his profile that he specializes in high risk patients.
Thank you for the note! I would recommend he get the opinion of Dr. Adams at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC . I think it will be worth your trip there!
