I was there last month and got good results on my annual echo which may become a 2 year test next time. I am trying to ween myself off mass general in favor of my local heart man as things improve. Driving in there can be an adventure.

I stopped opioids when i left the hospital and stuck with Tylenol till things became more tolerable. Too many horror stories on the news.Even at 11 months i get a rare twinge on my right side near my main scar. Was told it was nerve regeneration. Nice to be home... Read more.

Hi John. I hope everything goes smoothly.My operation was on 11/16,with aortic valve replacement,mitral valve repair and a pacemaker install.The surgery went well,but there was afib for a few days off and on afterwards.Reading more about the MAZE procedure,it is mho,that it should be standard practice during heart surgery.
