Wow My doctor never mentioned a bra. Or did I get a binder. That's weird how things are different depending on the hospital or Doctor.
I woke up from surgery in a surgical bra. I pretty much wore one 24/7 after surgery to keep things together.
I was told to wear a bra 24/7 they said it would give me support. But I couldn't stand it, I did buy a loose bra to wear when I went out but as soon as I got home off it came... I was never offered a binder I might... Read more.
I was told front fastening cotton ones for 24/7 for 6wks, which is what I did.
I wore a sports bra that closed in the front that really helped. My doctor told me to wash my incisions and put vaseline on them.
Bra's again: athletic zip up front alright? I'll pick up 3 tomorrow.
wonder what i am going to do.....i have size J breasts.....doubt the surgical bras come that large. was hoping for a reduction....looks like that is also out of the question now too.
