Hey Chris, congrats on a successfully surgery and what looks to be just as a successful recovery! Just curious, you being from Rockford and a fellow Illinoisan, any reason why you chose Mayo in MN specifically over Northwestern or Loyola, which are just as reputable heart centers in the Midwest... I'll say a prayer for you, I think you should do well. I had heart surgery at 72 years of age, and I'm feeling great now. Best to you, keep in touch my new heart friend.
