i dont know earliel LDL Doctor gave me Icos 1 mg for 30 days. I am very much concerned , I dont know even my surgery was OK as LVEF was 55% and AS was 0,9 and due to this they recommended for mechanical valve surgery at an age of 42 and now after 4 months stil my inr value os les than 1,5 doctor recommended to take 4 mg of acitrom

I understand it is difficult to regulate the levels of anticoagulants in the early days after surgery. Increasing the dose of acitrom sounds like the correct action . You will have to test regularly to check your blood levels. Also, it is important to maintain a consistent diet of foods that work against acitrom like leafy greens (foods high in Vitamin K). The icos will help get your cholesterol down, but you should try to eliminate saturated fats from your diet to help decrease cholesterol intake.

Thanks , I am tensed that due to the lower INR Value clot should not be there as i am not in position to get surgery done again, I cry like a child , sometime i feel why i get surgery done. Let me try two weeks with same diet every week and then get tested PT INR, I get my all food made in mustard oil only and with very less amount,

I was also very emotional after my surgery. It is a huge experience to go through! Recovery and healing involves an emotional part also. Try not to be discouraged, as many people on this site have talked about how difficult it is to regulate anticoagulants in the early days after heart surgery.
