Post-Surgery Update. I can't believe it has been over ten months since my surgery. I honestly feel like a new person. I completed cardiac rehab and have since maintained an exercise program where I am running over 3 miles a day. All these years I had thought that vestiges of childhood asthma was holding me back from long distance running; now I realize it was my heart valve that was causing the shortness of breath that used to arise almost immediately when I ran. I have tried to maintain a Paleo diet coupled with Intermittent Fasting, both of which have enabled me to lose a great deal of fat. I am looking forward to continued progress.
