I spent last night in ER and today at the hospital. My blood pressure was up and I had some visual changes. The docs added a small dose of lisinopril to my daily meds. I take metoprolol, which was started a couple of weeks prior to my AVR. I had taken only Lisinopril up until this date. I feel fine, just a bump in the journey. I am ready to have a peaceful night in my own bed---hospital ER carts do not offer such a pleasure! Peace to all as this day closes. Pat

I had my surgery on July 16, 2014. I have been back to work since September 14. I continue to grow stronger each day! I have a special request. I am a minister in a residence for elder adults. One of the assisted living residents, let's call her Mrs. P, for privacy reasons, is preparing for an AVR in the next two or three days. Please hold her your good thoughts and prayers!
