Yes Richard, I agree with you, a second opinion would be suitable. My doctor told me that the current trend in surgery is to intervene before the ventricle dilates too much, because the results at the end are better.
Manual, not a doctor, but surprised you have a dilated, albeit mild, LV, given your good fraction rate. Wonder if the ECHO was read correctly? I can not tell you how many different interpretations I had of my ECHOS. Don't hesitate to get a second opinion, as Richard says.

Yes, definitely get another opinion. It's always a good idea.
