All is still well. Yesterday I had the post-op visit to the surgeon's office. I was interviewed and then examined by the head nurse. She also showed me my recent chest x-ray, on which I could see the annulus band used to repair my valve. Wow. The nurse told me... Read more.

So glad you are doing so well in your post op journey!! Sounds like you are making all kinds of good progress!! I too had minimally invasive, and was told it was more painful initially, but a faster healing time. Well, I can't say for sure which is more painful... Read more.

I am home already from my MVR surgery. I feel like the surgery was a miracle. It went well. Thanks to all and hope and faith to those undergoing surgery today and next week.
