Hi everyone! I’m 2.5 years post isolated tricuspid valve replacement surgery (done at age 44 for a congenital defect), now very unfortunately with this Edwards LifeSciences bioprosthetic valve failing. I’m looking to get my Covid booster as I’m 6 mos out from my last (those three all Pfizer). It’s been... Read more.
I'm sorry you have to have another surgery. I'm no expert on the vaccines but suggest you discuss with your doctors if you haven't already.

I'm very sorry for your suffering as nerve pain is very uncomfortable. And I hope that the issues can and will resolve before long. I am so sorry, too, for the long distance communication issues. My surgery was aortic and open, but afterward I struggled with a number of orthopedic... Read more.
I also wish I had known more about possible side-effects pre-surgery.... but ultimately one can't know which ones one will get. Most are "normal" reactions to major trauma on our hearts, bodies and minds. We expected to be fixed and feel better faster than we do/did. It's hard. I hear... Read more.
