Denise - It sounds like you're doing well! Be careful not to overdo it. Cardiac depression is a very real condition. Be sure you treat it as you would any other post-op symptom. Don't be afraid to reach out to your surgeon, cardiologist, or physician about options to address it.... Read more.

Home health nurse comes in morning at 10am, I'll be very strong with her about my pain and ask her to also reach out to my Dr and surgeon and if she feels I should go to ER, I will of course.
Yes, for sure do not let the nurse leave without exploring your chest pain. After all, thats why she is there, to help you. Plus, you can point to the pain.
