Had a dental cleaning a week ago and just remembered Iwas suppose to take antibiotics prior to cleaning. Should I be concerned?

Interesting you say that because i had a repair and was told to get premedicated by my dentist and surgeon. Maybe some of the experts could clarify that for everyone.

It has been a little over two months since my mitral valve repair. About 3 weeks ago I got a sharp pain in my back that was pretty severe and made me feel a little nausea. It went away after an 1/2 hr. The same thing happened again last week... Read more.

Just wondering if you had a fatty meal that evening? With the nausea, it almost sounds a little like a gallbladder attack. I might make an appointment with my medical doc to see what they think...

I saw the dr on 10/26 and was released back to work with no restrictions on Monday. ðŸ™‚ I will be starting cardiac rehab on Monday - three times a week through end of year to further reduce the size of my right atrium. For anyone getting ready for surgery... Read more.
