Well, it’s finally here. My aortic aneurysm surgery is tomorrow. 8/22. It’s been stressful and scary. You’re comments have been helpful and informative. I hope everything goes well and I will let you know how it goes.Prayers are appreciated.

I’m so happy to have found this group. I had my 1st Heart Surgery 2 yrs. ago. I had my mitral and aortic valves replaced. Well, now I’m scheduled to have aortic aneurysm surgery in 2wks. It has grown quickly and I’m now at a 5.7, so it’s pretty bad.... Read more.

I am so sorry that you have to go through this again. I can only imagine how you are feeling. Keep us posted on what is happening with you.
Deborah - I am sorry you're facing another heart surgery. Believe in your strength - you will be able to rest easier when this aneurysm is fixed. You're young! There's a lot of life and great adventures ahead! You've got this!
I hate that you need another surgery, Deborah. When I needed to choose a tissue valve, the surgeons were very reassuring about second surgeries. Gratefully, they have become safer and safer. The risk related to your aneurysm is greater than the surgical risks, I know. Please keep us posted--we here... Read more.
