So happy for you that you made it to your daughter's graduation! What a joyful day that must have been! I hope you are feeling top notch soon.
Glad to hear you made it to Graduation! What a proud day for you both! You will get your hemoglobin up soon: I took iron pills for a month and my blood count came back to normal. You will have more energy then...
awesome you made it to the graduation! but it's still so soon after surgery, so I recommend don't over do it! take a day at a time........I wish you well!
What a proud day for your family. I'm so glad you were abl to be there. Hope your recovery continues to go well.
You might try eating lentils... and liver...Anaemia is, alas, common. The extreme tiredness is too. Your heart needs some time to bounce back. Take care Barbara!

Each day I am slowly getting there....... its very slow.... yes, but I knew it would not be a picnic. I have good days and bad days........ Gradually , I am learning to take each day as is comes, doing one extra small task a day..... knowing how to listen... Read more.
I have to have surgery but am seeing my surgeon for the first time tomorrow since all the tests were done...I got one book and it really made me even more apprehensive about the surgery - it's very depressing and hard to get a hold of. I see you are... Read more.
So nice to hear you are making progress. Your social calendar seems a little packed with Medical appts. But I guess that cant be helped. Hopefully the future wjill minimize those. Good luck. Hope your recovery continues to go well.
I really didn't understand the weakness that you feel after surgery untill I had it. It is debilitating. I feel guilty not carrying my load around the house. Thank God for my wonderful caring wife. Keep walking and using the respirator. We know we will be better in the end.
Glad to hear you're coming along Barbara, the first few weeks are hard- like Bob said, the degree of weakness you feel is shocking! I really felt like I turned a corner at week 4 & started to make good progress. Now I'm on week 9 & feel wonderful- better... Read more.
Sounds like you are on track barb, 1st couple of weeks are tough but you are on the right side now hopefully you are getting a reasonable amount of sleep, I found this the most difficult part being able to eventually sleep on my side once again was wonderful, love... Read more.

Today, I was walking with my little Cavalier King Charles. I was feeling, low, apprehensive, damp ( it was raining steadily), and as we headed back home , breathless and shoulders and right arm aching....... me, not my dog, haha, I started to formulate poem in my head....... on getting...
