Thanks for the update. I hope you get some definitive diagnosis and a resolution. Best wishes!
Alma, hope for a quick resolution so you can have a better peace of mind and fix all the problems you are having. Best wishes for a quick outcome.
I am praying for an answer for you. With all your little ones and your symptoms I hope you have some relief soon.
I'm praying for you Alma. I'm glad they moved the dates up also. Keep your faith and know that Jesus holds you near and dear. Thank you for all your prayer support during my surgery. I appreciated it deeply.

Have tests scheduled for November 6th and 18th. I can't believe how long this process is becoming. In the meantime, my symptoms have gotten a better. I am no longer passing out when I stand up, but then again, I'm not risking it by doing very much standing up. My... Read more.

In hospital as inpatient. Did tee yesterday. Surgeon does not want to operate! Says I have only moderate regurg, not what is causing my symptoms! Heart is enlarged on left side, some enlargement on right, but not worried about muscle damage. Regurg may need surgery someday but not today. My... Read more.
Cleveland clinic is the best heart hospital in North America. I know you do not live close to it. They have what is called a E-consult where your cardiologist sends all your test data to CC and their world class doctors review it and call you with their diagnosis and... Read more.
I second Cleveland Clinic. I saw a diagnostic cardiologist in person, but knew of the mail-in consult. I was so relieved after talking to Dr. Patrick Collier M.D. Ph.D. He is brilliant and takes time. It seems very strange that the doctors that you are seeing are not giving you... Read more.
Cleveland clinic, Mayo Clinic and of course , UCLA. I had mine at UCLA, but also got an opinion via the web at Mayo Clinic. Like I was told, it's not like I'm having wisdom teeth pulled...get all the opinions you can!
This is crazy for you. I'm so sorry to hear this. I 3rd the Cleveland Clinic. I sent my records to them and one of the surgeons reviewed them within 2 weeks. Maybe they can do a rush? You can probably see one of their cardiologists in a very short... Read more.
Not to dis the Cleveland Clinic or the other hospitals mentioned, but if you live in Canada (or, like me, are limited in your hospital choices), you may end up paying big bills if you go out of the system. The CBC did a "report card" on Canadian hospitals, which... Read more.
I live in Cleveland, and The Cleveland Clinc is #1. Unfortunately my insurance takes me where I work. University Hospitals of Cleveland Case Medical Center. We are #2. Harrington Heart and Vascular Institute. Sometimes the Clinic can be snobby and selective. I worked there. UHCMC is open to all. Just... Read more.
I reside in FL and Cleveland Clinic and Mt Sinai where my choice of top hospitals. Would suggest getting another opinion in Canada as everyone has suggested. Getting an insurance plan in the US will cost you a lot of money. Deductibles are insane. I have insurance through my company... Read more.
Just to b clear. I suggested cc e consult. No travel. There was no charge. It is worth checking. Seems like a no brainier no matter how others try to confuse you.
Thanks for that info Doran. I didn't know about that kind of consult. I'm going to look into it. Thank you again.
Alma, Jean makes a good point. My e consult was done through my cardiologist. It may help to have him contact them for the second opinion, even if you don't end up there. God luck. With everything you r going through, it's a shame the doctors can't get on the... Read more.
