My story started 5 years ago with a slight heart murmur when I went to give blood. They wouldn't accept it until I got checked out. I did and passed with flying colors. Everything normal. Fast forward to September 2017...upper respiratory infection that wouldn't go away. Then the shortness of breath started, then came chest pains then dizziness and nausea. Made an appt. and saw cardiologist. Severe Aortic Stenosis. Testing for surgery this week then I see the surgeon. So fast, overwhelming! All in less than one month. I had no idea I was sick before this.
