Hello! Was diagnosed w Bicuspid Valve,w/ Aortic stenosis in Aug.2019. Was told then that I would be monitored but surgery could possibly be in the next 4 or 5 years. Well here we are in January 2024. After many echos and stress tests my prognosis has shown for me to be in the severe range of things now. I consider myself very lucky,as I have not had any symptoms yet. Went to Tufts in Boston and talked to one of the very good surgeons there, who concurs with my primary Heart Dr on my progression.As far as timeline ,looking to have my valve replaced on Feb 21st.Looking forward to a smooth surgery,bumps and all with a good recovery!
