I am 56 years old. I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse in 2001. I was diagnosed with severe mitral regurgitation in June 2016. Had a mini-thoracotomy to repair mitral valve on August 1, 2016. Purchased Adam's book shortly after diagnosis in Early June. Had a great surgeon and team at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Was in the hospital for four days. Played nine holes of golf on 8/25/2016, just 24 days after surgery. I feel great and can't say enough good things about my experience at The Heart Center at Christ Hospital. Adam's book was a great source of information and inspiration. Thanks Adam.
