Hi there, my name is Thalia and I am a 39 yr old Mother of 2 girls 11 and 7.5 yrs. I was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis about 5 yrs ago after a routine check up revealed an irregular heartbeat and an eco-gram then backed up the diagnosis. I have not suffered from any obvious symptoms until half way through 2009 when I started to feel breathless after walking and periodical chest pain. It has now been decided that I will undergo the Ross Procedure on 2 March 2010 at the Epworth Private Hospital in Richmond, Melbourne. My Cardio-Thorasic Surgeon is Peter Skillington. Cheers!
