About Me

I have a heart valve that is not closing which is causing all the blood to flow downward along with a drooping artery or vein. I am 60 years old and feel really tired all the time. I have noticed my heart beat is really loud at times especially when I go to bed a couple of times when I turned on my side it felt as though my heart was bulging out of my side it is hard to explain but I just know it is not supposed to do that it never has before. Anyway I am a little scared well more then a little I am just waiting for surgery now. My Doctor and Surgeon have ran six different tests on me they are very thorough. My Cardiologist who did my heart cath decided while he was inside my artery he would do a second test to check my lungs, he said there was some pressure on them. When he was finishing up with the heart cath I heard him say my surgeon "sure had his work cut out for him" it alarmed me a little. I just need to stay calm, keep the faith, and continue to pray.
