Send Sharon a NoteAbout Me
I was diagnosed when I was in my mid-30s of having a quadricuspid aortic valve. I remember the doctors being so excited because they had never seen this before because very few patients have this type of valve. For the last 10 plus years I have been monitored by Cincinnati and Cleveland. Because I did not have other heart problems outside the valve issue Dr Pettersson from the Cleveland Clinic gave me an option to use the Ozaki method to replace my valve. (He makes your new valve from your own party Pericardium). I decided to go this way but my big question was do I really need to have this done now or can I wait. I can now say after being postop three months, yes it was time and now it is time for me to start enjoying llife again. Thank you and God bless Dr Pettersson and the staff at Cleveland Clinic.
